sleep hygiene tips

I am curious about the tips presented on this page: http://www.sleepeducation.com/Hygiene.aspx. I have never known a person who lives this way. They present a kind of chicken-or-the-egg paradoxm, especially tips 4 and 5. I think the rest of your site is helpful and interesting, but not these tips.

Actually, 4 is designed to keep your circadian rhythm in order...their rules for sleep hygiene are what any sleep professional will tell you to live by.  Some people don't -need- to in order to sleep well.  But if having issues sleeping, you should resort to this list before seeking drastic measures.

As a registered polysomnographic technologist, I assure you, and anyone else that the tips listed therein are completely correct.
