unless i've misunderstood, what you're describing isn't insomnia because you ARE able to get to sleep. it sounds like you just have a weird sleep schedule. have you tried homeopathic remedies or prescription medications to get to sleep earlier? and from what i have been told it is possible to have both insomnia and hypersomnia. with hypersomnia, any amount of sleep is unrefreshing, but insomnia can particularly exacerbate the exhaustion felt with hypersomnia. i'm no expert, but i have struggled with both conditions and this is what i have gathered from speaking with doctors.

I think you have hypersomnia its because you aren't able to sleep well at night. Try some relaxing techniques before bedtime to calm your body and mind.

I think you really need to get relaxation exercises as it will keep your body and mind relax and calm so that you can sleep for a long time without any restlessness. Also, I will suggest you to please dont be stressed out on anything just stay positive and try to handle it properly.

Thanks

Body and mind relaxation is really needed in every person. I even encounter insomnia myself and it really gives me a hard time to have my regular sleep back. Good thing I consulted with my doctor and with self discipline, I manage to overcome my insomnia. I really suggest that you should relax and it is really better to really undergo a checkup with your doctor.

Just handle the situation properly and with proper discipline + right tips, for sure you will be able to overcome this.

Sleeping at night is an issue for me. No matter if I meditate, listen to music, yoga.. I tried. But I mostly cant sleep till about 5am, wakes up at 11am and feel tired throughout the day.

Insomnia is the root cause of many things.

If you are able to correct your insomnia problem than you would surly be able to rectify other issues.

My suggestion is to practice sleep hygiene and be relaxed, calm and composed.
