The University of Illinois at Chicago Center for Narcolepsy, Sleep and Health Research is hosting "The Life of the Sleepy Person VIII Conference: Update on Narcolepsy." The CNSHR hosts the "Life of the Sleepy Person" conference every 3 years - this is the 8th such conference. The one-day conference is focused particularly for people with narcolepsy, their family members/friends, and interested practitioners. It brings together researchers, clinicians and laypeople for an overview of recent work on the diagnosis and treatment of narcolepsy. The conference will take place in Chicago and will include a keynote address by nationally known speaker on narcolepsy: Dr. Juliette Faraco from Stanford, who will give a research update on narcolepsy.
