How much sleep does my child need?

Sleep is important to everybody. When we sleep, we rest and gain energy for a new day. But sleep does more than that. When we dream, we process all the events of our daily life.

Can you help?
Thanks

Hi there I thought that I might lend a hand how old is your child ?

I have 3 children 11 , 10  , and 7 all my children get about 10 hr sleep a night my 11 yr old always wants to stay up late but if I do its so hard to get him to school on time as he is so sleepy I do let the kids stay up on the weekend but during the week they are in bed by pm and if your child goes to school I think that it is very important to get lots of sleep so that they are not tired for school

I hope this helped in some way

Sleep is an important considering good health and wellbeing . When we sleep: we rest, and our body is able to renew its energy.

A newborn usually sleeps between 17 and 18 hours per day, often waking every two to three hours to eat.

Since they get hunger after every two or three hours, thet will not normally sleep for more than four or five hours at a time.
